I absolutely love this place! Great finishing and beautiful mountains ...I have live in Colorado for all my life and still it amazes me how beautiful this place it ! Go see it!✌

Drove the 12 miles at an average of 10mph on the tiny road to get to the campground only to be extremely dissappointed. The only access to a moving portion of the river is to drive towards the hiking trail. The camp grounds were very small and very packed together. There was plenty of shade, but no access to dead trees for firewood. The campground was surrounded by marsh lands. I'm sure if we would have stayed we would have been swarmed by mosquitoes. I will not be going back there again.

Lots of mosquitoes and no fire wood. Not worth the 1h drive on dirt roads with dangerous switch backs - topped off with lots of Texans packing heat.
